Job Summary:
A Global Cloud Service Provider Company is seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Counsel to join our team! This role will be instrumental in the success of our legal operations and future growth of the company. The Corporate Counsel will provide legal support to the Company's internal stakeholders in its corporate headquarters and data center entities. The Corporate Counsel is a critical position within a small, yet nimble, legal team and will report directly to the General Counsel. This position is based in Reston, VA and assigned to the OVHcloud US hybrid work policy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Stay current on the industry and relevant laws and regulations impacting our business, including consumer protection and data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Handle legal compliance projects as assigned.
  • Review and respond to reports of copyright infringement under the DMCA.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review vendor agreements.
  • Draft sales order forms, partner agreements, confidentiality agreements, data privacy agreements, and consulting agreements.
  • Review marketing materials and provide edits/guidance as needed.
  • Assist security compliance team with activities related to maintaining rigorous security standards and coverage for OVHcloud's data centers, products, and internal systems.
  • Draft corporate policies for review, approval, and delivery to US employees.
  • Identify, champion, and provide training on best practices for corporate policies and procedures.
  • Respond to legal questions from customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct legal research as needed and provide summaries and recommendations that may enhance current practices.
  • Advise various stakeholders on complex legal matters.
  • Build and foster strong internal and external relationships.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably including some experience within a law firm.
  • JD with membership in at least one state bar.
  • Member of the Virginia Bar or the ability to become a Virginia Corporate Counsel.
  • A hard-worker and self-starter with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Intellectually curious and eager to engage with the business.
  • Experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and writing skills.
  • Experience working on multiple assignments at once and prioritizing effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable and willing to interact and collaborate with others.
  • Ability to work within an international company and adapt to diverse cultures to drive successful outcomes.
