We are seeking two Corporate Counsel attorneys to join our in-house legal team in Rockleigh, NJ.

Both roles are hybrid and based at the headquarters of Takasago's U.S. affiliate, Takasago International Corporation (USA)in Rockleigh, NJ.

What You'll Do:
As Corporate Counsel, you will play a critical role in advising and supporting our growing business. You will:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (MSAs, purchase/sales agreements, NDAs, consulting agreements).
  • Partner with internal business clients on various legal matters, balancing business goals with legal risk.
  • Collaborate across departments and with our global legal team in Japan.
  • Provide guidance on contracts, employee relations, intellectual property, data privacy, regulatory, environmental, and other legal issues as needed and commensurate with experience.
  • Manage outside counsel, litigation matters, and special projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.

What We're Looking For:
  • 2–5 years' legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house role and/or judicial clerkships.
  • Experience in patent law and/or employment law a plus.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school with admission to practice in NJ (or eligible for NJ In-House Counsel Registration). Admission in NY, FL, IL, or before USPTO is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to broaden expertise to meet business needs.
