Butler McDonald is a boutique law firm with a broad range of practice areas.The firm serves the entire State of Louisiana through Successions and Estate Planning, State and Federal Tax, Civil Defense Litigation, as well as our Corporate and Business Law practice.
Open since 2012, the firm is continuing to rapidly grow and diversify, and we are looking to make our next hire for our corporate department.

We see our work as exciting and we're looking for someone who can take initiative on complex, multi-faceted projects, and who can manage their own docket of cases.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana Bar License
- 5+ years of experience in a legal environment (e.g., private law firm, judicial clerkship, in-house legal department, or equivalent)
- Experience with contract drafting, negotiations, and corporate structuring
- Self-starter
- Proven legal writing and drafting skills
- Proven ability to independently manage and prioritize a full case load or project schedule

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year; Pay is negotiable commensurate with experience level
