What You'll Do:
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Handle general liability and insurance coverage litigation cases
- Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and assist with trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4–7 years of defense litigation experience handling personal injury and liability claims
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience managing cases independently
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Familiarity with litigation billing practices and reporting guidelines
- Excellent academic credentials
- Active Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar licenses in good standing (New York admission is a plus)
- First-party property and insurance coverage experience is a plus
