Your Role:Are you an organized thinker and communicator? Are you able to maintain an even temperament even as you're juggling multiple projects? Are you able to counsel clients on a range of topics and negotiate and close related transactions? We are looking for someone like this to:
- negotiate global and regional Fintech, Information Technology, hardware, software, Saas, telecom, market data, outsourcing and other vendor contracts.
- advise on firm wide FinTech, digital and outsourcing initiatives, and related policies.
- provide related legal advice and interpret legislative and regulatory requirements.
Your Team:
You will be based in the Americas Region of the team known as Group Contracting and Technology Legal. We have a broad mandate and provide legal coverage for a number of areas, such as Vendor Contracting, FinTech, Corporate Real Estate, Intellectual Property, Privacy and Data Management and Outsourcing, Nearshoring and Offshoring.
Your Expertise:
- JD degree with current admission to the Bar in the state where you will be based.
- ideally 3 plus years of legal experience in technology contracting (e.g., software, hardware, Saas, fintech, sponsorship, licensing, telecom, and market data)
- familiarity with Intellectual Property, Cybersecurity and Privacy issues
- experience in multi-tasking and constant prioritizing
- previously worked either in law firms or in-house (or both)
- a great communicator, who is comfortable interacting with people at all levels.
- able to take a leading role in transactions, both with internal clients and opposing counsel
- comfortable working in an environment where no two days are the same.
