Description:

The ideal candidate is an experienced attorney with law firm or comparable private-sector experience who can advise clients on sophisticated construction contract, construction and business litigation matters. The candidate should bring the judgment, technical depth, and client-facing confidence needed to work closely with sophisticated clients and established litigation law partners in a highly active Mid-Atlantic practice.

Five or more years of experience in construction and business litigation matters.
Experience structuring and negotiating construction contracts, including AIA contracts; and experience litigating business disputes, construction defects, mechanic's liens and bond claims, payment and collection disputes, and breaches of contract and delay claims.
Excellent drafting skills, particularly with respect to contracts, pleadings, and related client communications.
Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, exercise sound judgment, and manage matters and associate attorneys with appropriate independence.
A team-oriented, highly motivated professional with a demonstrated commitment to excellent client service and high-quality work.
Portable practice is a plus, but not required.
Must be a member of the Maryland Bar; admission in Virginia, Delaware, D.C., or other Mid-Atlantic jurisdictions is a plus.
