Thompson Hine LLP seeks a mid-senior level associate to join its premier national Construction group in Thompson Hine's Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, or Chicago offices. The ideal candidate will possess three to six+ years of experience in construction law, in any combination of litigation or transactional experience. Real estate development, large capital projects and/or sophisticated construction claims and dispute resolution experience (construction defect or delay claims, design negligence, breach of contract claims or payment disputes) is a plus. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, a strong work ethic, excellent writing and research skills, as well as the ability to establish strong client and peer relationships. Big law or construction boutique experience is welcome.Compensation is determined by the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The anticipated salary range for this position is as follows:
- Cleveland: $185,000-$205,000
- Cincinnati, Columbus: $175,000-$195,000
- Chicago: $215,000 - $245,000
