Legal Services of Greater Miami is seeking a full-time Florida licensed attorney to work on Community Economic Development matters related to providing transactional assistance to small businesses owned by low-moderate income individuals and nonprofit corporations engaged in economic development activities. Applicants should have at least 2-5 years' experience working in the areas of real estate, contract law, corporate, and/or administrative law, and be passionate about promoting justice and overcoming barriers facing low-income people.Who We Are:

What You Would Do:
- Provide transactional legal assistance to small businesses owned by low- and moderate-income individuals and nonprofit organizations engaged in community economic development activities.
- Advise clients on matters involving real estate, contract, corporate, and administrative law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, organizational documents, leases, and other transactional legal documents.
- Counsel entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations on legal issues that support economic growth and sustainability.
- Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and provide practical solutions for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, partners, and stakeholders to support economic development initiatives.
- Participate in community education, outreach, and trainings related to community economic development and small business legal issues.
- Collaborate with attorneys, support staff, and community partners to provide high-quality legal services.
- Adhere to Legal Services' policies, ethical standards, and Florida Bar rules.
- Perform related duties to support the overall mission and success of the organization.
Who We're Looking for:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
- Member of The Florida Bar, The Federal Bar, or admission within the time specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Two to five years of experience in real estate, contract, corporate, administrative, or related transactional law.
- Experience advising small businesses, nonprofit organizations, or community development initiatives is preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively with a team.
