Community Association Law / Real Estate Associate Attorney

We are a small law firm in a niche area of law (community association law) primarily representing homeowners associations, condominium associations, and mobile home/cooperative associations.

We also practice other real estate areas such as landlord/tenant law, mainly focused on landlord rights and handling of evictions.

Our firm has a family atmosphere, and are looking for an associate attorney to add to our growing practice. Law firm experience is preferred but not required. Salary will be commensurate with your level of experience, particularly if you have relevant experience in the field of community association law.

Responsibilities may include:

Drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Reviewing and interpreting corporate governing documents
Managing collection and violation enforcement related files
Attendance at client Board and membership meetings
Attending court hearings and mediations
Communication with clients regarding various legal matters pertaining to association law.
Managing cases and deadlines

Qualifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar or application pending
Potential applicants would need to have basic skills in MS word, excel, outlook, and be generally comfortable with law practice management software (we use MyCase which is easy to learn and user friendly).
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
