The ideal candidate will have six to eight years of retail industry, including big box retail, and commercial real estate experience.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed in the State of New York.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Experience preparing contracts, leases and purchase and sale agreements required.
- Experience conducting due diligence for real estate related mergers and acquisitions required.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing commercial and complex title reports and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft lease commercial retail and office agreements split between tenant and landlord representations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
- Provide advice and representation for regulatory, land use, and municipal hearings.
- Reviewing title and negotiating SNDA and other lender approval instruments.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
