Stevens & Lee's Litigation Group consists of more than 60 attorneys, including over 15 associates. Our litigators are problem-solvers who deliver efficient, desired outcomes to clients facing disputes. The continued growth and expansion of our practice has created the need for a skilled, upper-level associate with 5-10 years of solid commercial litigation experience. This position offers the opportunity for hands-on litigation, including courtroom experience and deposition practice (taking and defending).If you have developed exceptional skills in these areas and are looking to gain additional substantive experience with increased responsibility, all while working in a collegial environment, we would like to talk with you. We seek highly motivated, growth-oriented individuals. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are prerequisites. We value self-starters with the ability to work individually and in teams.
Ideal candidates will have meaningful experience in the following areas:
- Deposition practice
- Discovery and eDiscovery
- Oral argument
- Witness preparation
- Drafting of pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Experience with trials and class actions, though not required, is a plus.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey and/or New York. PA admission a plus.
