We are seeking an attorney with at least five years of experience in commercial litigation to join our team and join Principle Law's litigation. The successful candidate will have applicable experience, be self-motivated and ambitious, and prepared to help Principle Law advance its litigation offerings and scale.

The role of Commercial Litigation Attorney provides the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases for our business clients, including breach of contract disputes, corporate and partnership disputes, employer-side employment disputes, real estate disputes such as lessor-side forcible entry and detainer cases and quiet title cases, lender enforcement, and handling administrative actions for our clients. The Commercial Litigation Attorney will work in direct collaboration with the Managing Attorney to provide strategic support to clients and be responsible for managing all of the firm's dispute and litigation matters.

Additionally, this position is an accelerated partnership-track opportunity, with the right candidate having opportunities to earn equity in the firm on an accelerated schedule.
Position Highlights:
- Licensure: Must be a licensed attorney with a juris doctor from an accredited law school. Out of state applicants are welcome, but licensure in Colorado will be required of any out-of-state applicants.
- Experience Required: 5+ years in commercial disputes. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in commercial litigation with trial experience as a lead attorney preferred. The Commercial Litigation Attorney is responsible for all Principle Law disputes and litigation and should be confident in handling a case in all stages of litigation.
- Book of Business: Great if you have it, but not required. Principle Law is growing and has a strong referral network and a proven marketing strategy. We do, however, offer additional compensation for attorneys generating new business for the firm, and you will have the opportunity to earn additional income and become deeply involved in the community working with Principle Law.
- Location: Salida, Colorado. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus commissions on your billable revenues beginning when monthly billables exceed monthly portion of annual hourly target of 1,200 hours per year, and plus client origination commissions and firm billable revenues.
Bonuses: Principle Law awards discretionary annual bonuses.

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00AM to 5:00PM generally, but flexible.
License/Certification:
- License to practice law (Required)
- Eligible to practice law in the State of Colorado within one year of hiring.
