Description:
An East Coast Law Firm's Complex Commercial Litigation group is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience to join our growing team in Stamford, CT.Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation and familiarity with the state and federal courts in Connecticut. We are looking for candidates who are excited about litigating and taking on more responsibility and doing challenging work, including handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, day-to-day case management, and participation in trial preparation. Prior experience as a judicial clerk is also a plus. In addition, dual admission in the New York courts is a plus, as is experience with government and internal investigations.

Requirements:
- 2-5 years of solid commercial litigation experience (government and internal investigations experience is a plus)
- Excellent technical, professional and client service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills
- Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration
- Effective and efficient problem solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
- Connecticut bar admission in good standing (dual admission in NY is a plus)
