An American Law Firm Commercial Litigation Group seeks a midlevel associate with at least 3-5 years of experience to join the practice in the Miami and/or Fort Lauderdale offices.The successful candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding academic credentials. Qualified candidates will have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, work well in a team, and be prepared to take on significant responsibility in Venable's cases. Candidates will support commercial litigation activities, including areas of focus such as franchise, intellectual property rights, real estate, and general commercial litigation. Participation in marketing and business development activities, including client pitches and presentations are expected. Prior law firm experience is preferred. Bilingual capabilities are preferred, but not required. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
