Responsibilities and practice:
Dentons US LLP is seeking a junior or mid-level associate to join our nationally recognized Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Candidates should have 3-5 years of complex litigation experience, strong academic credentials, proven analytical ability, and experience handling high-level legal matters. Our associates work collaboratively with our partners and clients, and are key members of our team. Expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Working on all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trial and appeal
- Conducting legal research and writing memoranda
- Drafting complex case analyses and preparing briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
- Conducting, propounding, and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions)
- Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel

Technical skills:
- 3-5 years of complex and sophisticated business litigation experience is required
- Strong writing skills are required
- Level-appropriate direct experience handling clients and opposing counsel is required
- Excellent oral advocacy skills are required
- Deposition and court experience is preferred
- Previous law firm experience is preferred
- Experience or interest in class actions, financial litigation, privacy litigation, or real estate litigation is ideal
Other Requirements:
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and be in good standing
- Submission of a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and at least one writing sample
