The Legal & Policy Team is An American Camera and Social Media Company's dedicated in-house law firm, policy consultant, lobbyist, thought partner, and all-around advisor. This team helps An American Camera and Social Media Company do the right thing the right way, make better decisions, understand and manage risks, and creatively navigate challenges, both external and internal. We're looking for a Commercial Counsel to join the Legal Team at An American Camera and Social Media Company!

What You'll Do:
  • Draft, negotiate, review, and interpret agreements covering a range of An American Camera and Social Media Company's commercial activities around the world, including a broad range of vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, master services agreements, data processing agreements, multinational supplier agreements, IP licensing and cloud computing (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) agreements, partnership and collaboration agreements, ad tech and measurement agreements, and supply chain purchase agreements
  • Provide strategic advice to An American Camera and Social Media Company business and product leaders related to commercial transactions
  • Advise business clients on company policies, business strategy, and legal issues and risks
  • Assist in creating and improving agreements, templates, and policies for An American Camera and Social Media Company as we develop new products and enter new markets
  • Exercise sound judgment when negotiating business and legal terms
  • Support colleagues to ensure business initiatives are completed accurately and on timeCoordinate with colleagues from every part of the company
  • Handle projects at the discretion of the leads of the An American Camera and Social Media Company Legal Commercial team

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree
  • Membership in a United States state bar, or otherwise qualified to be a registered in-house counsel under California's multi-jurisdictional practice program
  • 3+ years of practicing law in-house or at a law firm

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience handling commercial transactions, ideally in-house at an internet or technology company
