Description:

Join our Fishers, Indiana office as an entry-level Claims Attorney, and help us live out our mission of leaving people better off than we found them. In this fully in-office role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, applying your legal training and strong communication skills to guide them through the early Claims process. Working within our E.P.I.C. culture—excellence, passion, impact, and courage—you'll handle essential conversations, assess case details, and set the tone for a positive client experience. This role is ideal for someone early in their legal career who thrives on meaningful interaction and understands the power of strong early-stage Claims work. This full-time opportunity follows a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours built around established core times. Our in-office model supports teamwork, real-time collaboration, and elevated Claims workflow efficiency while keeping the process consistent and client-focused.

As a Claims Attorney, you will conduct thorough Intake calls with prospective clients, asking the right questions to confirm crucial details and determine whether their case is a fit for HLG. You'll guide clients through what comes next, provide follow-up when needed, and take on escalated calls that require professionalism and calm. Your work will continue behind the scenes as you communicate with insurance adjusters and at-fault parties to move client matters through Claims Verification. Maintaining accurate, timely updates in our client management system is essential, and you will ensure each step in the Claims record is clear, complete, and compliant—while maintaining the highest level of Claims data integrity.

You'll partner internally with our Case Control Department, Pre-Litigation, and Litigation teams, contributing to strong cross-team communication and seamless handoffs from Intake to the next phase of the client journey. Whether attending consults, participating in team meetings, or offering insights on early-stage legal issues, your involvement will help sustain the high standards of our Claims operation. To be considered for this entry-level position, we'd like you to have a Juris Doctor degree and maintain an active law license in good standing in the state of Indiana. We offer competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid parental leave, and even pet insurance—because we believe in supporting the whole person behind the work.

If you're a dedicated attorney at the start of your career—someone who cares deeply about guiding people through those first essential steps of their legal journey and building genuine, supportive connections—we'd love to meet you.
