Responsibilities:
  • Represent survivors of sexual assault and abuse in civil litigation from case intake through trial or resolution.
  • Investigate claims and evaluate third-party liability, including institutional negligence or failure to act.
  • Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and pre-trial motions.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Prepare expert disclosures and manage expert relationships.
  • Work closely with survivors, providing trauma-informed client advocacy and legal counsel.
  • Negotiate settlements and, when necessary, advocate vigorously at trial to ensure full and fair compensation.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil litigation, personal injury, or criminal prosecution of sex crimes.
  • Experience handling sensitive cases involving trauma survivors preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and civil discovery practices.
  • Demonstrated courtroom and trial experience preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and a commitment to providing superior client service.
