Description:

- Represent survivors of sexual assault and abuse in civil litigation from case intake through trial or resolution.
- Investigate claims and evaluate third-party liability, including institutional negligence or failure to act.
- Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and pre-trial motions.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Prepare expert disclosures and manage expert relationships.
- Work closely with survivors, providing trauma-informed client advocacy and legal counsel.
- Negotiate settlements and, when necessary, advocate vigorously at trial to ensure full and fair compensation.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil litigation, personal injury, or criminal prosecution of sex crimes.
- Experience handling sensitive cases involving trauma survivors preferred.
- Strong understanding of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and civil discovery practices.
- Demonstrated courtroom and trial experience preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Extreme attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and a commitment to providing superior client service.
