About the role:
We are seeking an experienced civil litigation attorney to join our team. This position will handle a broad range of matters — from small, project-based assignments to full case management — often collaborating with other attorneys within the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage case files from intake through resolution
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing parties, and opposing counsel
- Conduct legal research and draft persuasive written work product
- Handle discovery, including written discovery and depositions
- Prepare and argue law and motion matters
- Make courtroom appearances, including trial
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to strategize case handling from both a legal and economic perspective
- Professional, clear communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a caseload independently and as part of a team
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
