Position Overview:Shep Law Group is seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career attorney interested in developing litigation skills in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist with a civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy
- Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, trial preparation, and trial
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (or near graduation)
- Licensed to practice in Idaho or ability to obtain licensure promptly
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Professional judgment, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
- Preferred (Not Required):
- Prior experience in civil litigation or related practice areas
