Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to collections , personal injury, employment law. This role requires you to have experience in fee dispute matters and having done arbitrations

This role requires excellent negotiation and litigation skills, as well as the ability to conduct thorough legal research and drafting. The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in court, manage case files, and provide legal advice on a variety of issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in litigation matters across various practice areas including lien collections . personal injury, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and more.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with a focus on accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and share insights on complex legal issues.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients' cases or the firm's practice areas.
  • Provide guidance on estate planning, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and environmental law as needed.

Experience:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar association in good standing.
  • Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of trial procedures and court rules.
  • Familiarity with various areas of law including but not limited to family law, immigration law, environmental law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, estate planning, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal regulations, and patent law is highly desirable.
  • Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research databases such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents clearly and persuasively.
