An American Law Firm with Over 500 Lawyers is seeking an experienced corporate associate attorney with extensive knowledge of US securities and corporate law and experience working with domestic and international companies, including China-based companies. The associate will have the opportunity to work directly with partners on sophisticated securities and corporate matters. - At least four to six years' prior experience in capital markets and corporate law work, including U.S. federal and state securities laws with strong working knowledge of '33 and '34 Act regulations and compliance, as well as experience working on initial public offerings, PIPEs, SPACs and De-SPACs) and general corporate experience at a large international law firm.
- Mandarin Chinese fluency and English fluency
- U.S. law degree (J.D. or equivalent)
- New York (or equivalent U.S. jurisdictions) bar admission
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Strong client service mentality and cultural sensitivity
We Prefer That Applicants Have the Following Qualifications:
- PRC law degree or experience working with PRC firms
- Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance is a plus
