Responsibilities:
- Estate Planning: Meet with clients and help design customized estate plans.
- Courtroom Advocacy: Appear on court calls for estate administration and guardianship cases.
- Litigation Support: Handle contested proceedings, including Will Contests, Citations to Recover, and heirship evidentiary hearings.
- Estate & Trust Administration: Prepare informal estates, manage trust administration tasks, and utilize firm templates to build comprehensive legal strategies.
- File Management: Maintain and manage independent client files from intake to resolution, working seamlessly within our firm's manual and systems.
Qualifications:
Critical Requirements
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensure: Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, OR a recent law graduate scheduled to sit for the July 2026 Illinois Bar Exam.
- Language: Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required to serve our primary target market.
