Job Description:Miles & Stockbridge, P.C., a mid-Atlantic Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an attorney with at least seven (7) years of experience to join our Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights practice group in our Baltimore office. The Chambers-ranked Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights group represents diverse clients in bankruptcy cases and insolvency proceedings in Maryland, DC, and throughout the United States.
The firm will consider candidates at various levels, including senior associate, counsel, and junior principal.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience representing creditors, lenders, financial institutions, debtors, and trustees in all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency matters, with a focus on creditors' rights, commercial litigation, and corporate reorganizations. The candidate will manage insolvency proceedings, out-of-court workouts, financial restructurings, and bankruptcy litigation.
The successful candidate must be capable of taking primary responsibility for matters, independently managing cases and transactions, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and internal colleagues.
Maryland bar required.
