Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy filings, negotiations, and court proceedings with a focus on Chapter 7 and 13 cases.
- Draft and review legal documents including petitions, motions, contracts, and pleadings with precision and clarity..
- Advise clients on debt restructuring options, asset protection strategies, estate planning considerations, and related legal matters.
- Manage case files efficiently using legal case management systems while maintaining meticulous records of all client interactions and case developments.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas such as employment law, personal injury law, and family law to provide comprehensive legal counsel.
- Communicate with clients, creditor attorneys, opposing counsel, trustees, and the courts.
