One of New York's top plaintiff personal injury firms is seeking an experienced Auto Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience handling New York automobile and motor vehicle personal injury claims, a proven track record of successfully resolving complex personal injury cases, and strong litigation and case-management skills. Prior leadership or management experience overseeing attorneys, paralegals, or case departments is a plus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to take a leading role in managing complex auto accident cases in a fast-paced, high-volume plaintiff personal injury practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a caseload of complex automobile and motor vehicle personal injury matters from inception through settlement, verdict, or trial.
  • Handle depositions, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Develop and execute case strategies designed to maximize client recovery.
  • Analyze liability, damages, insurance coverage, and medical evidence.
  • Negotiate effectively with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff as needed.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
  • Ensure cases are properly managed, deadlines are met, and files remain current.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives, firm growth, and overall case-management strategy.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York.
  • Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably representing plaintiffs in automobile/motor vehicle accident cases.
  • Strong knowledge of New York personal injury law and civil procedure.
  • Proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution and/or trial.
  • Strong deposition, negotiation, motion practice, and courtroom skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and client-communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and multiple priorities.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred but not required.
