Job Description:
The Auto Attorney will represent clients in matters concerning automobile accidents, personal injury claims, and insurance disputes. The role requires strong legal knowledge and the ability to advocate for clients in both litigation and settlement processes. The attorney will work closely with clients, adjusters, and other professionals to resolve cases efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal representation for clients involved in automobile accidents, insurance claims, and personal injury cases.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Represent clients in court for hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Advise clients on their rights and options regarding automobile-related claims.
  • Manage a caseload, ensuring that all deadlines are met and all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, clients, and other parties involved in the case.
  • Stay updated on changes to state and federal laws that impact automobile accident and insurance law.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by offering personalized legal advice and updates throughout the process.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in New York;
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in personal injury or automobile accident law.
  • Knowledge of New York laws related to automobile accidents, insurance claims, and personal injury.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with trial preparation and litigation.
  • Familiarity with no-fault insurance claims and PIP (Personal Injury Protection) law.
