Description:
A National Business Law Firm is seeking a 2-5 year attorney for a position with our
Zoning & Land Use practice group in Austin. This position is a
growth position supporting an expanding area of practice in our Austin
office. We assist developers and landowners in obtaining zoning through
the preparation of zoning applications, drafting of complex and flexible
zoning regulations, and representation at public hearings. We help
clients analyze and strategically navigate the platting, subdivision,
zoning, development, and building permit process. Experience in land use
or zoning is preferred, and candidates must want to focus on this area
of law. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Real
Estate Transactions, Land Use, or Planning: Experience or exposure in
the realm of commercial real estate practice, especially real estate
developments and investments.
- AmLaw 200 Experience: We are looking for someone who is familiar with the pace and expectations of sophisticated law firm work.
- Communication
and Drafting Skills: Candidates should be proficient at complex legal
drafting and be an excellent communicator. Attorneys in this practice
area not only communicate regularly with clients, but also with members
of the community and public officials.
