Job Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President, General Counsel (Corporate), primary legal support for the oversight, management, and administration of the drafting, review, and negotiation of system contracts in the areas of real estate, construction, commercial and office leases for Froedtert ThedaCare Health, Inc. (FTCH) internal contract stakeholders and other organization leaders, consistent with the FTCH mission, vision, and enterprise values, including providing legal counsel and advice for non-clinical arrangements with health care providers, dispute resolution, and compliance to applicable regulations. Responsible for providing legal oversight and counsel on property and other tax issues impacting FTCH, including management and administration of the drafting, review, and negotiation of tax-related transactions for FTCH internal contract stakeholders and other organization leaders, consistent with the FTCH mission, vision, and enterprise values, including dispute resolution, negotiations with taxing authorities and compliance to applicable regulations. Support Chief Legal Officer, Vice President- General Counsel (Corporate) and Vice President - General Counsel (Health Law), as follows: * as directed, to support strategic transactions, such as mergers, acquisition, entity reorganizations, business arrangements and investments, joint ventures, syndications and key transactional initiatives, and *in the development and implementation of legal strategies that align with and advocate for the system's mission and growth goals, including developing and driving continuous improvements in corporate operational and regulatory management, litigation, governance and board-related matters, policy management and administration, and contract administration and processes.

Experience Description:
Must have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant contracting experience in a non-profit setting, or with a law firm that specializes in non-profit clientele, with strong preference being the hospital or health system setting. Experience with active participation, either as a team member or program manager in negotiating, implementing and managing large complex real estate and construction projects is preferred.

Education Description:
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school is required.

Licensure Description:
Licensed to practice law as in-house counsel and in good standing in the State of Wisconsin or be eligible to seek admission to practice in Wisconsin upon hire is required.
