Description:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to lead and manage our Ocala office as part of a rapidly growing firm with multiple locations throughout the state of Florida. This is a fully in-office position for a motivated attorney who is confident in handling both pre-litigation and litigation matters and is prepared to oversee day-to-day office operations and staff management.As we continue to expand across Florida, we are looking for a leader who can maintain high standards of client service while contributing to the firm's ongoing growth. The ideal candidate is organized, client-focused, and comfortable managing a full caseload from intake through resolution, including trial preparation when necessary. This role combines hands-on legal work with meaningful leadership responsibility within a dynamic and growing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a personal injury caseload from pre-suit through litigation
- Conduct case evaluations and develop legal strategies
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
- Negotiate settlements in pre-litigation and litigation phases
- Oversee and manage Ocala office staff
- Ensure office performance aligns with firm standards and client service expectations
- Maintain strong client communication and case management practices
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Minimum 5 years of personal injury experience (both pre-litigation and litigation required)
- Proven courtroom and deposition experience
- Strong negotiation and case management skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in-office in Ocala, FL
- Bilingual a plus
