Position Overview:
As a Partner with our Workers Compensation team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our firm's practice and contributing to its overall growth. We are looking for a self-starter capable of managing a full caseload remotely while fostering client relationships and pursuing business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Lead and manage a diverse range of workers' compensation defense cases from inception through resolution.
- Strategic Collaboration: Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and team members, ensuring alignment with clients' goals and expectations.
- Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of legislative changes, judicial rulings, and industry trends affecting workers' compensation to provide informed advice and strategic direction.
- Client Representation: Represent the firm and clients in hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings, demonstrating exceptional advocacy skills.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bar Admission: Must be barred in the State of Illinois.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in workers' compensation defense.
- Caseload: Ideally should have some business to bring with them.
