Position Overview:
The attorney position focuses heavily on municipal prosecution and enforcement of ordinance violations including zoning and nuisance abatement. The attorney will also gain exposure to and assist on a variety of general municipal litigation matters. The attorney will regularly appear in municipal and circuit courts throughout Northeastern Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Prosecuting municipal ordinance and local code violations including traffic and OWI 1st
  • Advising municipal clients on enforcement strategy and legal compliance
  • Appearing frequently in municipal and circuit courts across multiple counties
  • Managing general municipal litigation
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and enforcement documents
  • Working directly with municipal officials, police departments, and court personnel

Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin (or eligible for admission)
  • Strong interest in litigation and courtroom practice
  • Comfortable appearing in court on a regular basis
  • Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills
  • Interest in municipal law, public service, or government representation
  • Ability to manage a varied and active caseload
  • Prior prosecution, municipal, or litigation experience is helpful but not required.
