A Midwest Firm, a litigation boutique of 170
employees, has an opportunity for an attorney with at least five years
of experience in all phases of litigation defense.
Candidates
must be licensed in Missouri and Kansas, ideal candidates will also be
licensed in Arkansas, and have the ability to work independently on
complex insurance defense cases.
- Manage file through litigation process independently and as a part of the case team.
- Conduct fact investigation.
- Handle document productions and other discovery tasks.
- Preparation of witnesses for deposition.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Review, summarize and analyze medical records.
- Court hearing preparation and attendance including oral arguments of motions.
- Trial preparation and attendance including trial team support and direct and cross examination of witnesses.
