Position Overview:O'Neill, Wallace & Doyle, P.C., an established Michigan law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Saginaw office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage civil litigation matters from evaluation through resolution.
- Research legal issues and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, case evaluations, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Manage deadlines and collaborate with attorneys and staff.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree and active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan, or eligibility for admission.
- Strong research, writing, analytical, advocacy, and organizational skills.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Civil litigation and courtroom experience are preferred but not required. Newly licensed and experienced attorneys are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting salary: $70,000+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include healthcare coverage; dental and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; payment of State Bar dues and other professional expenses.
