We are seeking a commercial litigation associate with approximately five years of experience to join our team in Michigan or Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful day-to-day ownership of matters and is ready to step into a stronger “running point” role on cases.This is a hands-on position. Associates are expected to take real responsibility—driving strategy on assigned matters, drafting and supervising major filings, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, and working directly with clients. The work is sophisticated, the expectations are high, and the path forward is wide open for associates who want to grow a practice, not just bill time. We take the work seriously and ourselves less so—good judgment, good humor, and a team that shows up for each other.
The ideal candidate has approximately 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting with excellent writing and judgment, the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep matters moving, strong deposition experience, and comfort being client-facing.
Candidates must be licensed in Michigan or Ohio or eligible for admission by examination or waiver.
