You must be a good writer/researcher, a great negotiator, detail-oriented and a self-starter. You must have decent client relation skills. We seek someone who wants to balance work-life, who can work collaboratively at times but also independently, and someone who wants to develop their existing attorney strengths. Above all, you need to be wicked smart yet humble about it, have a good sense of humor, enjoy camaraderie, a keen sense of ethics and honesty, and commitment to the advancement and development of the law. The office atmosphere is casual and unpretentious.
Our salary range assumes a candidate with 1-4 years experience, with gratuitous bonuses. (We will consider a candidate with more experience, and if you have a pre-existing book of employer clientele is preferred can increase the salary range - an “Of Counsel” relationship may be available)). Benefits include employer match 401(k), flexible spending/dependent spending, health insurance (dental/vision), a generous Section 127 student loan debt repayment plan, and CLE programs.
We want lawyers who are fearless. Our client's principles are worth defending and we don't tolerate bullies. If you are great, or want to be the greatest, we want to talk. If you are bored with big law, corporate law, looking to represent more individuals, looking for the adventure in your interesting career, or if you are winding down your career and seek a team-based platform from which to practice law but don't want the hassles of a managing lawyer complaining about hourly requirements, then we encourage you to apply.
