The Law Office of Mark L. Janos, P.C. is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to join our small firm based out of Newburyport, MA.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, talented, driven and detail-oriented Attorney. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel across various practice areas, including residential/commercial real estate, estate planning, probate administration and knowledge of forming business entities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a small law office environment, supporting clients with diverse legal needs. Experience representing owners, developers and lenders in connection with the acquisition, ownership, financing, development, leasing and sale of real estate is highly valued.

Duties:
Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and pleadings with precision and clarity.• Advise clients on real estate transactions, estate planning, business entities and other related areas.• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining records and ensuring compliance with legal standards.• Collaborate with colleagues on complex matters and develop effective legal strategies.• Stay current with evolving laws and regulations relevant to practice areas through continuous research and professional development.• Assist in legal administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.

Skills:
Proven expertise in residential and commercial real estate, estate planning and business entities.• Proficiency in legal drafting and administrative procedures within a law office setting.• Experience with legal research tools and computer skills areessential.• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.• Familiarity with the Massachusetts Land Court System, MA and NH Corporate Divisions and Probate Courts in both MA and NH.• Ability to review title abstracts and render opinions on the status of titles.• This position requires a licensed attorney (preferably bothMA & NH) with a minimum of 4+ years relevant experience in the above mentioned practice areas.
