Description:
Overview:Small midtown law firm located near Grand Central Terminal seeks an attorney for our commercial Litigation practice. Must have a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years litigation experience including court appearances, etc. Should also be interested in learning about and participating in commercial Real Estate transactions. Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a New York bar admission in good standing.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to prepare various litigation documents including Summons and Complaints, Discovery documents, Motions, etc
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
- Minimum of one to three years experience practicing litigation
- Proven expertise in legal research using LexisNexis..
- Excellent legal writing skills
- Must have experience in Court appearances, arguing motions, etc.
- Trial experience a plus
