The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office (OPSO), New Orleans, Louisiana, provides the care, custody, control and rehabilitation of inmates. The Attorney advises and represents the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office (OPSO) in relation to their legal rights in civil and criminal cases. Their duties include meeting with the Chief Legal Officer to discuss the various aspects of OPSO cases, performing research to gather pertinent information for each case and attending all pretrial hearings. Work to resolve disputes for OPSO and represent OPSO at hearings in a court of law.
