Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:

Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, parenting time, support, and post-judgment issues.
Handle your own full caseload and manage client relationships with empathy and strategy.
Appear regularly in court; attend mediations and depositions, and take ownership of litigation from day one (with mentorship and support as needed).
Draft motions, pleadings, and legal arguments at a high level.

Expectations & Requirements

Minimum: 110 billable hours per month (1,300–1,400 annually) with bonus tiers for performance.
Demonstrated interest or experience in family law litigation.

A licensed Michigan attorney (or pending license) with courtroom interest or experience.
A strong writer and persuasive speaker with excellent communication skills.
Goal-oriented with the grit to advocate for clients during court hearings and negotiations
Empathy to help clients through difficult times.
