Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Criminal Associate Independent Contractor with 10 years experience with all stages of proceeding from prelim to trial.

Responsibilities:
  • Experienced all stages of proceeding from prelim to trial.
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies in various legal matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions.
  • Advise clients on their rights and obligations under the law.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas such as securities law and tribal law & regulations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.

Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar association.
  • Proven experience in Criminal law.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in a law office setting is highly desirable.
