Job Summary:We're seeking an Attorney ready to deliver clear, practical legal counsel and move matters forward with energy and sound judgment. You'll advise clients, conduct legal research, draft documents, and support litigation from initial case assessment through trial preparation. The role may involve a broad range of practice areas; relevant experience and interests will help shape your work.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients, assess legal issues, and communicate options and case developments clearly.
- Conduct statutory legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other appropriate sources; apply procedural law knowledge.
- Draft and review contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; prepare for court depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Manage case files, deadlines, and legal administrative tasks; support general and commercial litigation and legal advocacy.
- Your impact: Careful research, preparation, and client communication help clients make informed decisions and pursue their legal matters effectively.
Skills:
- Required: Law office experience, legal research, legal writing, legal drafting, contract drafting, litigation, legal case management, legal motion preparation, trial preparation, negotiation, and client communication.
- Relevant case experience: Real Estate, Probate, Estate Planning and Corporate matters
- Bring strong writing skills, research ability, procedural law knowledge, and experience with legal advocacy and legal negotiation.
- Legal administrative experience and familiarity with LexisNexis or Westlaw are useful; experience across every listed practice area is not required.
