Your Role: Key Responsibilities
- Handle creditors' rights litigation and related matters alongside experienced attorneys
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and discovery documents
- Appear in court and assist with trial preparation in both state and federal courts
- Conduct legal research and stay current with applicable statutes and case law
- Review case files and assist in developing case strategy
- Maintain case management systems and ensure accuracy of legal documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with legal staff to meet deadlines and court requirements
- Lead and support a small legal department
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Bar license
- 2–10 years of civil litigation or creditors' rights experience
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal tech systems (Cogent preferred)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for court appearances and client conferences
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
Schedule:
Full-time | Onsite | Monday–Friday | Location: Lakewood, Colorado
