In this role, you'll represent clients in civil matters related to creditors' rights, managing cases from start to resolution with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and results. You'll partner closely with clients and internal teams, navigate complex issues, and help ensure matters move forward smoothly while upholding MDK's standards of service and professionalism.

Your Role in Action
  • Manage and litigate a volume caseload of default servicing matters. Matters are related to residential foreclosure actions.
  • Draft and argue motions necessary to the successful completion of both routine and contested foreclosure matters.
  • Assist and provide leadership to a team of paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Engage with clients to provide outstanding client experience and industry-leading customer service.

Qualifications:
Your Background & Skills
  • Actively licensed in Illinois.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience practicing law in real estate or title industries.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to travel as needed. Travel outside of the Chicago area will be limited, but possible.
