We have been working in partnership with leaders in public education since 1983 and strive to make a difference in the boardroom, the courtroom and, most importantly, the classroom. Our Austin office is seeking an attorney licensed in Texas for 1-3 years to help us continue our work.The position calls for an attorney who can successfully work to defend public schools and other governmental entities on issues involving special education/disability rights litigation as well as provide advice and consultation to public schools in special education/disability rights. A background in special education as well as public speaking experience and strong interpersonal skills is a plus, as is experience representing governmental entities in federal litigation.
