This position follows a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work based in our Austin, TX office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare case strategies and nonimmigrant and immigrant employment-based filings with USCIS, DOL, and DOS.
  • Prepare consular and CBP packets as needed.
  • Prepare and file motions, briefs, and other pleadings with the DHS, BIA, and BALCA as needed.
  • Communicate with the Firm's clients including HR professionals, employees, and individuals.
  • Work within a team of experienced attorneys in representation of clients.
  • Collaborate with and oversee legal staff in successful delivery of assigned matters.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current on immigration case law, regulations, and policy changes.

Qualifications:
  • JD licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 1 year or more experience as immigration lawyer in business or family immigration.
  • Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
