Your Impact in This Role
As an Immigration Attorney, you'll play a key role in advocating for clients and guiding them through complex immigration processes. You'll manage cases from start to finish while mentoring support staff and ensuring high-quality legal work.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Advocacy & Case Management
- Represent clients in EOIR court (Master & Merits Hearings)
- Conduct consultations and prepare clients for interviews
- Draft motions, briefs, and other legal filings
- Communicate with government agencies and stakeholders
- Supervise and mentor paralegals and legal assistants
- Oversee case preparation and ensure timely filings
- Maintain organized, compliant, and confidential case records
What We're Looking For:
Core skills:
- Strong legal writing and courtroom advocacy
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases independently
- Leadership mindset with team-oriented approach
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar license in at least one U.S. state
- 3+ years of immigration law experience
- Experience with removal defense and immigration court proceedings
- Background in family-based and employment-based immigration preferred
