Job Overview:
As an Attorney III at A Multiple-Line Insurance Organization, you will provide legal representation to A Multiple-Line Insurance Organization and/or their insured in the defense of complex personal injury lawsuits with exposures in excess of $100,000. Case management begins from the initial stages of filing responsive pleadings through discovery and ultimately trial. Your case management responsibility includes developing and implementing strategies for all stages of litigation while collaborating with our claims partners and clients. Your team, consisting of a support attorney, secretary, paralegal, support specialist, will assist you in preparing necessary legal documentation, conducting depositions, investigating/researching, and evaluating cases for settlement, arbitration, and trial.

Experience:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to represent client and Company interests in litigation.
- Able to effectively direct legal support staff in daily operations to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned work.
- Able to work independently with minimum direction and good organizational skills needed to manage a reasonable caseload.
- Requires a law degree and admission to the Bar in the state(s) where practicing. Must also reside in the State and Geographic Region where assigned files are venued.
- Preferred 10-15 years insurance defense experience with significant jury trial experience.
