Position Overview:
Our firm is seeking a newly licensed attorney or recent law graduate who has passed the bar and is prepared to begin a substantive and rewarding legal career. This entry-level position is well suited to candidates with 0–5 years of experience who are seeking meaningful training, professional development, and the opportunity to contribute directly to client matters involving legal, medical, and advocacy issues.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent writing ability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in litigation within a collegial team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • This position offers an outstanding opportunity for an early-career attorney to develop courtroom presence and practical litigation experience from the outset.
  • Draft motions, protests, petitions, briefs, discovery, and other advocacy-related documents
  • Participate in oral advocacy and support matters through the course of litigation
  • Develop strong client service skills and maintain effective professional relationships
  • Build practical experience in persuasive writing, litigation strategy, and case management

Qualifications and Practice Area
  • Prior experience in Workers' Compensation, WISHA, or Employment Law is preferred, but not required. We welcome candidates who are eager to develop knowledge in these areas with the guidance of an experienced and supportive team.
  • The firm's primary practice is Workers' Compensation defense, representing employers, self-insured employers, and retro groups. This position offers valuable exposure to a sophisticated and specialized area of practice.

Compensation and Work Structure
The firm offers flexibility in structuring compensation and workload through billable-hour tiers, allowing attorneys to select an arrangement that aligns with their professional objectives and preferred work-life balance.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and the selected billable-hour tier.
