Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attorney to join our legal team. As an Attorney, you will be handling the defense of vehicular personal injury and property damage matters. Responsibilities:
- Conduct and report on depositions
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Provide legal advice to clients on various matters
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
- Must have a trial experience
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the state bar association
- Proven experience in legal administrative work, research, and litigation
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience.
- Ability to handle complex litigation matter from inception to trial. Must have trial experience.
- Experience in defense personal injury and property damage litigation
- Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate effectively and write persuasive arguments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
